High Top Sneakers

High Top Sneakers are an all-time classic. They came in style in the 20s and they haven't gone out of style since my friends. They are sort of an icon as well. I mean when you think if high-top sneakers you think of the  50s and greasers. Or you think of the movie Footloose and dancing. You wear high-top sneakers to feel cool and to go back in time. At least for me it is. I don't own a pair of high tops, but I want a pair SO BAD. Its a classic shoe that when you wear them it makes you feel on top of the world. Like you got chills and they're multiplying. Sorry I had to reference "Grease" because it goes with sneakers so well.

Converse is a brand that has been here since 1908. They were first made out of rubber and then in 1920 they renamed their canvas sneaker to the "All Star." The name just stuck since then and they are still popular. Although, they made them to make jump shots on the basketball court. But, people eventually started seeing them as something more than just basketball shoes. People started to wear them everywhere; to work and in the streets. People started to wear them as a fashion statement and to express themselves. That's what makes these shoes so popular you can make them you and they become a part of you. You determine their journey and that's what makes them so iconic.

To this day there are designs that are so bold and iconic. I mean now they have a wedge sneaker. So throughout the years peoples own designs and self-expression has created some pretty unique sneakers and has given sneakers their journey. With unique styles and ways to express yourself through these shoes it makes you excited to see whats in the future for the classic high-top sneaker.
